Lassonde project
Lassonde School of Engineering, York University, Toronto ON
In September 2021, the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University completed a $4.8 million expansion. Designed by GOW Hastings Architects, it added student study areas, capstone design spaces, teaching labs and faculty offices, alongside off-campus research laboratories.
The architects wanted translucent materials that would allow light and colour to shape the interiors. Daycora supplied Frosts panels to diffuse light and create a soft visual effect.
Van Horne Construction carried out the installation, bringing the selected finishes into the completed spaces.
