Derry Road West Pedestrian Bridge
Working with Bau and Cos Studio, Plas-Tech supplied Daycora panels for two pedestrian bridge art projects in Mississauga. Custom artwork was applied to clear laminated polycarbonate panels to create colourful public installations.
Bau and Cos Studio’s approach was recognised by the City of Mississauga.
Lake Wabukayne Pedestrian Bridge at Winston Churchill
Plas-Tech provided the hardware solution, including signed and sealed engineering shop drawings. Custom stainless steel brackets and banding secured the panels without fastening directly into the existing steel structure.
The panels were laminated with an anti-graffiti film to help protect the artwork.
The collaboration brought together custom artwork, decorative panels and project-specific mounting details for Mississauga’s public spaces.
